TVLine had this to say:
Its chances for a fifth-season pickup may be murkier than a mud puddle, but this much is crystal clear: NBC’s Chuck proved a decisive winner of TVLine.com’s first annual ’Renew Our Show!’ Bracket Tournament, defeating fellow finalist Fringe by a margin of 68.7% to 31.3%.

SPOILERS - 4.23 "CHUCK VS. THE LAST DETAILS"

7:09 PM / Posted by Sheldon / comments (19)

22 March 2011,
The latest Chuck Spoilers from E Online can be found below:

Q: SadieJezierski: Chuck scoops!

A: Episode 23 is called "Chuck versus the Last Details." Our favorite engaged couple are putting the finishing touches on their big day while working on opposite sides of the planet: Chuck's going to be running a mission in a Colombian prison, while Sarah's off somewhere speaking Korean—so she's either in North or South Korea or, well, maybe just L.A.'s Koreatown. Will our favorite spies make it to the altar in time? We'll probably have to wait until the last possible minute to find out, but does anybody doubt that the long-long-long awaited Chuck-Sarah union is going to be amazing and completely worth the wait?

Q&A: SHOULD 'CHUCK' GET A SEASON 5, THEN END?

5:54 PM / Posted by Sheldon / comments (20)

21 March 2011,
The latest Chuck Season 5 renewal discussion from TV Guide:

Q: I was wondering if you might weigh in on my favorite on-the-bubble show Chuck, which is still a steady, if not great, performer. With the cancellations or not-so-great prospects of several NBC shows like Undercovers, Chase, The Cape, The Event, etc., do you feel it bodes well for the chances of renewal as well? — Scott

A: Chuck really is the little show that could, isn't it? There will never be a time when Chuck doesn't live on the proverbial bubble, but it has the great fortune of enjoying the sort of fan and (in some corners) media buzz that NBC lacks nearly everywhere else. So you're right that NBC's continued ill fortunes in prime time very likely means Chuck could get that all-important fifth season — although at that point, I think it will be time to call it a wrap. One argument working against its renewal: There's a new programming team in place at NBC, and depending on how drastically they want to wipe the slate clean, Chuck could be more vulnerable than we think. But if I had to bet, I'd say Chuck gets one more season, and then that's it.

SPOILER: WILL SUMMER GLAU RETURN TO 'CHUCK'?

1:54 PM / Posted by Sheldon / comments (2)

17 March 2011,
Q: So Chuck brought the Old Spice guy and Stacy Keibler back to the show last night, any chance we’re going to get to see Summer Glau come back? – Rick

A: It could be a while. Not that Fedak doesn’t want to see her return, but it’s a creative pickle. “I would love to bring Summer Glau back,” Fedak says. “She, of course, left on bad terms at the end of her episode. She had kind of run afoul of Col. John Casey, but, listen, if we have the opportunity, I would love to bring summer Glau back. She’s just wonderful.” - EW.

SPOILER: 'CHUCK' SEASON 4 FINALE TITLE REVEALED!

8:48 AM / Posted by Sheldon / comments (30)

16 March 2011,
Here's the latest from Ausiello about the title of the Chuck Season 4 Finale &Season 5:
Q: Any word on a renewal for Chuck yet? I hope to God that it comes back next season! —Archana

A: Let’s put it this way: Boss men Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak are in no way, shape or form being subtle in expressing to NBC their expectation that the show will return. How unsubtle? The title of the May 16 season finale is “Chuck vs. The Cliffhanger.”

A: Per TVLine’s Renewal Scorecard, it’s holding steady at “Could go either way” — an assessment recently confirmed by an NBC insider. On the scoop front, General Hospital‘s Lisa LoCicero has been cast as Daphne Peralta, the titular, Jersey-bred adversary in this season’s 21st episode, “Chuck vs. the Wedding Planner.” (And though I say “adversary,” no, she is not from the spy realm.)

STRAHOVSKI WANTS TO EXPLORE SARAH'S FAMILY!

9:26 PM / Posted by Sheldon / comments (12)

24 February 2011,
Chuck star Yvonne Strahovski has admitted that she would like to explore more of her character's family life. CIA agent Sarah recently became engaged to Chuck on the NBC comedy-drama.

"I would like to see some family stuff," the actress told Examiner. "We don't know what's going to happen with the wedding or who's come to come back."
Sarah's father (played by Gary Cole) was previously revealed to be conman in the second season episode, 'Chuck Versus the DeLorean'.

"I would love to look into the whole Dad thing again and see what happened with the Mum, said Strahovski.

The actress added that the apparently unemotional Sarah "has been wanting [a family] for a long time".

"It seems that she does want a sense of security, and she's found that in Chuck," she suggested. "She treasures it, even though there are still things surrounding that relationship than can... make her uncomfortable."

LAUREN COHAN TALKS "CHUCK" 4.16 TONIGHT!

3:37 PM / Posted by Sheldon / comments (1)

21 February 2011,
TVLine.com recently spoke to Chuck's latest guest-star, Lauren Cohan, who is first introduced in tonight's 4.16: "Chuck vs. The Masquerade".

Q: How would you describe Vivian?
A: She’s kind of a well-educated, bumbling recluse.

Q: Is she welcoming to Chuck and Sarah when they first approach her?
A: She’s very suspicious of them and what they want out of her. But then she joins forces with them.

Q: Are there any hints dropped that she is harboring a secret?
A: We don’t know her exact connection to the Volkoff empire, and she… well, I’m afraid to say more.

Q: If Chuck gets picked up for a fifth season, would Vivian be sticking around?
A: I don’t know. I know I’m on for about five episodes — I’m off for a couple right now, and then I come back. I’ve heard rumors of some really cool revelations, but the only thing is that some of them discount things that have already been revealed on Chuck. But again, they’re not concrete rumors.

WHEN CAN WE EXPECT SEASON 5 PICK-UP NEWS?

9:49 PM / Posted by Sheldon / comments (17)

20 February 2011,
Wondering when we'll hear Chuck's fate for a Season 5 pick-up? TVByTheNumbers.com seems to know when. Here's their article:

NBC is kicking off the week of broadcast network “upfront’ meetings on May 16, 2011. The upfront meetings are where the networks announce their fall schedules and pitch to advertising buyers to get as much advertising money “up front” as they can.

Barring a dramatic shift in the ratings, my guess is we won’t know Chuck’s fate before the fall schedule is announced on May 16.

TV GUIDE DISCUSSES "CHUCK" SEASON 5 STATUS!

9:16 AM / Posted by Sheldon / comments (36)

9 February 2011,
TV Guide's Matt Roush answers a question about Chuck Season 5, tells us when we can expect the renewal/cancellation news and his thoughts on a pick-up.

Question: Chuck is one of my favorite shows, but lately it seems to be heading towards an ultimate finale by wrapping up many story lines. Does this mean the producers think it is going to get cancelled? Has NBC indicated that it wasn't going to get picked up next season? — Stan

Matt Roush: When hasn't Chuck lived on the bubble? As usual, we're not likely to know whether Chuck gets a fifth season until the fall schedule is announced in May. Fans are used to that, and so are the producers. Your observations are on point, though, because the writers went into this season with a 13-episode order and constructed the arc involving Volkoff and Chuck's mom with that in mind. Last week's episode, the 13th, was designed to work as a season finale or maybe even a series finale, which is why it sometimes felt like they were rushing to wrap things up. Ellie giving birth, Chuck finally proposing to Sarah, lots of closure there. But NBC upped Chuck's order to a full season, so while there's now more story to tell, it means fans will once again be sweating out news of the show's future for the next few months. Complicating matters is the NBC-Comcast merger with new management overseeing the entertainment division. All bets are off right now in predicting what's staying and what's going and what NBC prime time will look like next season.

FEDAK OPTIMISTIC ABOUT 'CHUCK' SEASON 5!

8:02 PM / Posted by Sheldon / comments (55)

20 January 2011,
Chuck co-creator Chris Fedak has said that he is optimistic about a fifth season of the show. NBC recently commissioned a further eleven instalments of the comedy drama, taking the fourth season to twenty-four episodes.

Fedak told Give Me My Remote: "I don't use the word confident ever in my vocabulary. Television is a weird world. But we're excited to consider the idea of actually doing a fifth season. That's big news. That's exciting to us."

He joked that fans of the series would protest if NBC decided not to renew it.

"I've always had this image of when the Chuck fans riot [and] it's going to be like the end of a Frankenstein movie," he laughed. "But... we're just happy to be on the air, telling our stories."

Fedak also described the show's loyal viewers as "a pretty intense bunch". "That's always been a part of it," he explained. "People who love the show like we do and just want to see what happens next." - DigitalSpy

RATINGS - IT'S OFFICIAL: NBC NEEDS CHUCK!

7:18 PM / Posted by Sheldon / comments (32)

9 November 2010,
Like the title of this post says: It's official, NBC needs Chuck. There was no Chuck episode last night, but the George W. Bush interview that took Chuck's spot did worse in the 18-49 ratings category than Chuck has. Chuck scored a 2.0 in the 18-49 category last week, whereas this week, the Bush interview scored a mere 1.7 in the same category.

So you see NBC, Chuck isn't that bad after all. Shall I suggest a Season 5 pick-up?
