Here's the official synopsis for Chuck, Season 4 Episode 20: "Chuck vs. The Family Volkoff"

IN ORDER TO SAVE THE LIFE OF A FORMER ALLY, CHUCK MUST JOIN FORCES WITH HIS GREATEST FOE—LINDA HAMILTON, LAUREN COHAN, MEKENNA MELVIN, AND TIMOTHY DALTON GUEST STAR—A bad day gets worse when Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) throws Chuck (Zachary Levi) a surprising relationship curveball as the CIA orders Vivian Volkoff (guest star Lauren Cohan) assassinated. In order to prove Vivian's innocence, Chuck must put his trust in a dangerous ally her father Alexei Volkoff (guest star Timothy Dalton). Meanwhile, Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) suspects that her mother (guest star Linda Hamilton) is interfering with the search into her father's past. Joshua Gomez, Ryan McPartlin, Adam Baldwin and Bonita Friedericy also star.

Our favorite engaged couple are putting the finishing touches on their big day while working on opposite sides of the planet: Chuck's going to be running a mission in a Colombian prison, while Sarah's off somewhere speaking Korean—so she's either in North or South Korea or, well, maybe just L.A.'s Koreatown. Will our favorite spies make it to the altar in time? We'll probably have to wait until the last possible minute to find out, but does anybody doubt that the long-long-long awaited Chuck-Sarah union is going to be amazing and completely worth the wait?

A: It could be a while. Not that Fedak doesn’t want to see her return, but it’s a creative pickle. “I would love to bring Summer Glau back,” Fedak says. “She, of course, left on bad terms at the end of her episode. She had kind of run afoul of Col. John Casey, but, listen, if we have the opportunity, I would love to bring summer Glau back. She’s just wonderful.” - EW.

Q: What’s Morgan going to be up to on Chuck? — Laurie

A: Well, if you watched last night’s episode (and you really should have), you saw that Morgan stepped up to protect John Casey’s secret second assignment with the GRETAs (who are no more)! According to co-creator Chris Fedak, that somewhat speaks to the relationship the writers are building between the two. “We have some really funny stuff coming up in regard to the odd couple that is Morgan Grimes and Col. John Casey. It’s a peculiar decision to decide to room with your girlfriend’s dad. But they’re also very good friends and Morgan needed a place to crash,” he dishes. “Going forward, we really like the idea of Morgan as Chuck season 1, the guy who’s experiencing the spy world anew, fresh. We have some really interesting ideas about where we’re going with him in this season and how it all folds back to John Casey and his girlfriend Alex.” And if things get out of hand, it’s good to know that Sarah always has her tranq gun.

A: Per TVLine’s Renewal Scorecard, it’s holding steady at “Could go either way” — an assessment recently confirmed by an NBC insider. On the scoop front, General Hospital‘s Lisa LoCicero has been cast as Daphne Peralta, the titular, Jersey-bred adversary in this season’s 21st episode, “Chuck vs. the Wedding Planner.” (And though I say “adversary,” no, she is not from the spy realm.)

Spoilers for Chuck, Season 4 Episode 19: "Chuck vs. The Muuurder" below:

Chuck co-creator Chris Fedak stopped short of mentioning the name Agatha Christie when talking to me about episode 19, “Chuck versus the Muuuder,” airing March 21. But even if he had followed through, I’d be saying this: This episode is going to be awesome.

“We’ve always wanted to do a murder mystery, so we’re working on an episode right now where something terrible happens to someone down in Castle and Chuck and Co. are given the Sherlockian job of figuring out who the murder is,” Fedak tells EW exclusively. “So we’re working on our own spy version of a chamber piece.”

While all this is going on in Castle, Fedak said that upstairs, Buy More would be experiencing a “big crazy” story of their own. “We’re having a lot of fun with that one right now.”

Can you contain yourself? I couldn’t. In fact, I begged for more details, like would it be in black and white like all the classic murder mysteries of TV history?

“It’s in color right now, but if you see it in black and white, you should take no credit for that,” he said…hopefully writing me a check as we speak.

Chuck co-creator Chris Fedak has dropped hints about the future of Lauren Cohan's character on the show. He told TV Squad that Vivian, recently revealed to be the daughter of the villainous Volkoff (Timothy Dalton), will be "tempted by the dark side" in upcoming episodes.

"She walks the line between being a Volkoff and being someone [better]," he suggested.

Fedak also compared the revelations surrounding Vivian's parentage to the previous mystery of Chuck's own father, calling her arc a "bizarro, dark version of Chuck's story".

Lauren Cohan previously hinted that her character could return to the show, following an initial five-episode arc.
