Like the title of this post says: It's official, NBC needs Chuck. There was no Chuck episode last night, but the George W. Bush interview that took Chuck's spot did worse in the 18-49 ratings category than Chuck has. Chuck scored a 2.0 in the 18-49 category last week, whereas this week, the Bush interview scored a mere 1.7 in the same category.
So you see NBC, Chuck isn't that bad after all. Shall I suggest a Season 5 pick-up? Labels: Chuck, NBC, Ratings, Season 4, Season 5

Yeah, if Chuck can hold steady like it's done all season, I think a renewal for next year seems likely. The big question will be whether they renew it for another short season (13) or go for a full season. I only wonder that because the show is 22 episodes away from the magic 100 episodes for syndication. Would NBC be willing to commit to a full season just for the sake of syndication rights?

These are great news, only Chuck holds tigh it´s audiences and no other show can do that, still and unlikely many of you are saying, I really don´t think Chuck should have a 5th season. We already have 24 episodes for season 4, a lot of development Chuck/Sarah as a couple, and the top is seeing them married,it´s the only missing spot yet, after that, theres is nothing left to do, and would be just repetitive/annoying. I hope that all of you, Chuck fans, don´t get me wrong, but if I wanted CHuck to have a season 5 just to reach the "magical" 100 eps and just to "watch" Chuck, I would be endanger this show´s quality and greatness that made me, and lots of people, fans. Sory to desagree, Chuck NO needs a 5th season.
If there were to be a fifth season at the the end off the 4th one chuck has to propose to sarah then you will find out the answer in the fifth season so then that season would be all about getting ready for the wedding and all the missions obv.
How much you think it will cost to create another season of chuck? If we all pitch in....think we could come up with the cash?!

First of all let me say that this is great news. Lets face it, all of us hardcore Chuck fans know this should be the case, it is nice to see it in writing however.
Now I would like to address all of the people, even though there are only a few, that are doubting Chuck's need for a fifth season. If a marriage between Sarah and Chuck is the only thing your watching for then I would not call you a true fan. I think after this long it would be nice to give the geniuses behind Chuck a little bit more credit. Many people, myself included, have come to realize that all of the creative minds behind Chuck bring something unique to the way they write, something entirely different than anything T.V. has seen before. I am sure that come the end of Season 4 each and every person doubting the need for another season will be begging for more. So lets give this a rest before you're not able to take back what we all know you'll regret saying in a couple of months.
But most importantly thank you to all of the amazing Chuck fans that make up the majority of these comments. You are true fans, you know what Chuck is capable of, and you are all the reason why we have come this far, and the reason we will go so much further. Keep it up everybody, Chuck fans are indeed... Awesome.
Chuck is awesome, i get out of my bed at 5 o'clock just to watch it (because i live in Belgium, i can't watch NBC) i think NBC should think of that also, i mean... chuck fans are over the world, i saw season 1 in Belgium and right after that, 2 days later i saw untill the end of season 3 (yeah i know, nolife) what i am trying to say, NBC keep in mind that chuck fans are over the world, and i would support chuck as long as it exists... thank you also for this site, the man who created this deservers a spot in the show, i check it every day.

for all of you who dont want a fifth season i dont believe are real chuck fans. the people behind the scenes will come through like they always do.
I think they should pick up Chuck for one more season at least. I've always said that Chuck should go at least for 5 seasons. Then they should make a full length theatrical movie to let Chuck go out with a bang. That movie would make tons of money with the fan base it has. It would be worth watching Chuck in the movie theater.
I am a chuck fan from Denmark! Denmark only showed season 1 here a couple of years ago, so i have seen it on NBC website :/
