Chuck makes its debut at C2E2 for a Q&A and special screening of exclusive footage and a fan-favorites panel. Co-creator/executive producer Chris Fedak will be on hand, along with fan favorites from the cast, including series stars Joshua Gomez, Ryan McPartlin, Vik Sahay and Scott Krinsky.

Ryan McPartlin recently spoke to Zap2It about the arrival of Baby Awesome, which will be seen in Season 4 Episode 13. Here's the interview:

"We're leading up to the baby being born and that's about where we finished shooting was the birth of the baby," McPartlin tells Zap2it. "I think that was originally going to be the end of the show [at the 13th episode], but thank God we just keep coming back. I think they actually timed the birth out though and they said it's close to the timing with the initial pregnancy announcement."


It's no surprise that he wouldn't trust just any character from "Chuck" to look after his kids. Let's just say Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez) wouldn't be on his babysitter short list.

"It's a tossup between John Casey [Adam Baldwin] and Sarah Walker [Yvonne Strahovski]," McPartlin says. "Because I know they take orders very well and they'd be able to protect the children and do everything to the best that I tell them to do, exactly how I'd tell them to do it. But maybe I'd lean towards Sarah Walker because she's got more of a heart than John Casey."

Having already shot the birth episode, the actor knows what Baby Awesome's name will be.

"But I can't divulge it," he says. "I'm sure the baby will have a cool nickname. We haven't gotten to that. There's still plenty of room to discuss what the baby's nickname will be."

Read this interesting article about a man who was inspired by Ryan McPartlin's 'Captain Awesome' character in Chuck.

Douglas Allen Smith Jr. says he changed his name to Captain Awesome last month because he was inspired by the nickname of a character on the NBC television show "Chuck" - Dr. Devon "Captain Awesome" Woodcomb.

Ausiello: Captain Awesome won’t be reviving his short-lived career as international superspy anytime soon. “Last season Awesome realized if there was one place in the world where he wasn’t awesome, it was on spy missions,” notes exec producer Chris Fedak. “He’d like to stay as far away from the spy world as he can.” That’s particularly true now that there’s a mini Awesome on the way. “He is going to be way more into all of the rituals of pregnancy than even Ellie is,” says fellow EP Josh Schwartz of the daddy-to-be. “Like all things in life, Awesome is going to throw himself into the pregnancy with his usual fervor.”

Just like last year, it looks like the fate of Chuck on NBC is going to come down to the wire. If the worst happens, will fans be satisfied with this episode? This season, the ratings started out strong (for NBC) with a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demo and 7.45 million viewers. Unfortunately, they’ve fallen quite a bit and hit a low of a 1.9 in the demo and 5.46 million. While the early numbers would have assured Chuck a third season, the later numbers put that possibility into question.

If Chuck is cancelled, it doesn’t sound like this season’s finale, just like last year’s, will offer a satisfying conclusion to the series. In a recent interview, McPartlin (“Captain Awesome” himself) had this to say. Read @ TVseriesfinale

Maybe Nicole Richie should give up acting and take up stunt work.The socialite recently filmed a guest spot on NBC’s spy dramedy Chuck and has earned rave reviews form her co-stars for her balls-out performance.“I wasn’t shooting with her because she was doing all the action stuff, but everyone said she did a great job. She’s really committed to it,” Ryan McPartlin tells OK! at the ESPY Awards. The actor conceded he was wary of Nicole’s commitment as acting isn’t her claim to fame, but the 26-year-old erased all of his concerns.“She came in and did all of her own stunts and just kicked ass from what I hear,” he says.

NBC announced earlier that "Chuck" will stay at it's 8 PM timeslot this fall with "Heroes" just before as the show's lead-in. Here's what NBC's Ben Silverman said about the show:

On Pairing Chuck with Heroes: "We analyzed our ratings and a ton of young people were watching Chuck, and young people are watching Heroes, too, so we like that flow...The show [Chuck] will come back as strong as ever. We’re treating all our fall premieres for these returning shows as if it’s the first time people have ever seen them."
