Nicole Richie is in next week Mondays episode of Chuck, Season 4 episode 3: "Chuck vs. The Cubic Z" which airs on October 4th. The video also contains sneak peeks from scenes in the episode which feature Nicole.

Joel Madden loves seeing Nicole Richie kick butt on NBC’s “Chuck,” but he’s having a hard time getting along with their family’s new cat.

“I loved her on the last one – I went by and saw her when she was filming that and it looked really cool,” Joel told Access on Monday. “She gets to do all these fight scenes and shoot guns, and she really likes it.” Though Nicole — Joel’s longtime partner and mother of their two children — may be wielding weapons, the 31-year-old singer said he’s not concerned for the former “Simple Life” star’s safety.


“I don’t worry – she’s got a little crazy streak in her,” he laughed. “She’ll be fine… It’s sexy.”

Maybe Nicole Richie should give up acting and take up stunt work.The socialite recently filmed a guest spot on NBC’s spy dramedy Chuck and has earned rave reviews form her co-stars for her balls-out performance.“I wasn’t shooting with her because she was doing all the action stuff, but everyone said she did a great job. She’s really committed to it,” Ryan McPartlin tells OK! at the ESPY Awards. The actor conceded he was wary of Nicole’s commitment as acting isn’t her claim to fame, but the 26-year-old erased all of his concerns.“She came in and did all of her own stunts and just kicked ass from what I hear,” he says.

The clip below was recently featured on E! News. It discusses Nicole Richie's role in Chuck Season 2 and shows a little bit of footage from the new season. It's hardly spoiler-ish, but don't say I didn't warn you.

Nicole Richie is already working on a new role — guest starring on Chuck, which began filming last Monday.
“It was fantastic,” a source said about Richie, 26, being on the set of the NBC show. “She was friendly. Everybody loved her.”
Nicole plays Heather Chandler, an old high school nemesis who made fun of Sarah, played by Yvonne Strahovski. “She has a great fight scene,” the source said. Between takes and training for their fight scene, they were “giving each other high-fives.”
