Joel Madden loves seeing Nicole Richie kick butt on NBC’s “Chuck,” but he’s having a hard time getting along with their family’s new cat.

“I loved her on the last one – I went by and saw her when she was filming that and it looked really cool,” Joel told Access on Monday. “She gets to do all these fight scenes and shoot guns, and she really likes it.” Though Nicole — Joel’s longtime partner and mother of their two children — may be wielding weapons, the 31-year-old singer said he’s not concerned for the former “Simple Life” star’s safety.


“I don’t worry – she’s got a little crazy streak in her,” he laughed. “She’ll be fine… It’s sexy.”
