Lauren Cohan has revealed more details about her forthcoming role on Chuck. It was confirmed last month that the Vampire Diaries star will recur in five episodes as Vivian McArthur, a beautiful socialite who is secretly the daughter of a criminal mastermind.

"This character's fun," she told Entertainment Weekly. "She's not quite bumbling. She's a well-educated person with no purpose, who just kinda gets unwittingly wrenched into this CIA world.

"We don't actually know what her role is gonna be. The CIA comes to protect her, and then events turn."

Cohan confirmed that she had not had to train extensively for the role, despite her character's proficiency with weapons and martial arts. "In the end, they don't want any of their actors doing the really dangerous stuff anyway," she explained. "They teach you as much as they can, and then they have amazing pros do the other stuff."

Cohan will first appear in Season 4 Episode 16 expected to air on February 21.

I think I was the only one who didn't mind her in Supernatural, so naturally I'm looking forward to seeing her on Chuck!
