15 November 2010,
Summer Glau spoke to Fancast about her appearance as "Greta" in Chuck tonight and about her new show, The Cape.

Q: What kind of “Greta” are you on ‘Chuck’?

A: I’m the dangerous, icy kind. It was really fun because ‘Chuck’ is a really special show in that it has dramatic moments but it’s very funny. So I felt free to just go for it. Greta is dangerous, but those [Buy More] boys… they exasperate her! - Full Article @ Fancast.com

Nothing to do with this post but can someone explain to me why the hell shows like "dexter" or "supernatural" that are very popular have ratings of less than 3 million people and no one talks about cancelling the show, but chuck its allways in the cancell bubble with a steady 5.3 million viewers? I'm missing something here?

Thank you.

My theory is that, for Dexter, it's on a paid, premium channel that doesn't have nearly the kind of reach that NBC, a major broadcast station, has. Supernatural is on CW, which is a pretty small station compared to CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC. So basically, Dexter has excellent ratings compared to other shows on the premium channels like HBO and Showtime, and Supernatural may do well when it comes to CW's other shows. NBC has higher standards and should be competing with CBS, ABC, and FOX. Unfortunately, Chuck does not have the ratings to contend with shows like Two and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, CSI, NCIS, House, Glee, etc, etc. That being said, Chuck is one of the only shows on NBC that hasn't dropped significantly in ratings this season. The Event, Chase, Law and Order, and a few other shows on NBC that they were hoping to be successful, have all dropped significantly. That bodes well for Chuck.

Was it just me, or did they not put in a single Firefly referrence throughout the entire episode?

Maybe I just missed it, but if not, what a wasted opportunity. I was expecting it at the end when she was talking to Casey.

If there was a referrence, can anyone point it out for me?
