last night episode was freakin' awesome!!!

too bad I can't watch it on NBC or Hulu, or Live to raise ratings :(

Unless I'm sorely mistaken, the only viewers that actually matter are those with Nielsen boxes in their homes. Everyone else doesn't really make any difference at all (for the ratings; Obviously we matter when we buy the DVD boxed sets, and other things)

I remember when everyone was saying that 1.7 would be the bottom, and that it couldn't get worse. Now that we are at 1.6, I'm wondering how many more viewers the show can bleed before NBC pulls the plug. I'd feel confident at 2.0, but at 1.5 (if it does drop again this week) I'm not so sure.

Don't get me wrong: I'm willing to eat as much Subway as it takes (again) to keep the show on the air, but the Nielsen families have got to do their part, or it may not matter how many sandwiches we eat.

Question --- Are the producers saving money by not having a makeup pro for Sarah? For the last couple of episodes, Sarah has no eye make up, or lipstick. What is up with that?

wow..
do you guys have any ideas what happend with the computer and Elly at the end?
Is she an AGENT X?
brainstorming..

Damn last night was 1.5 with a 4.3 mil :( :( :(

Chuck down to a 1.5.. Not good at all.But we definitely need to promote Chuck so people start watching it.
If ratings keep going like this we have to do something.. I think it is time to start heading to Subway (or some similar campaign), because soon it's too late!

I don't even know anyone who is a Nielsen viewer. How do you get to be a Nielsen viewer?

I thought last night was hilarious! Chuck is one of best shows on tv, certainly on Monday nights. NBC needs to stop getting behind big no substance shows like The Event and get behind the little guy who has a large loyal fan base!

im a massive fan of chuck as are a good few of my friends. however being in the uk. our rating do not count. hopefully they dont cancl chuck. its my favourite show alongside smallville

Hmm... Too bad for the low ratings, but in the U.S., Dancing with the Stars premiered and that is a big ratings getter. The last 5 minutes of the episode seemed to open a couple of new story lines... but we have to wait two weeks! I hope the lost of momentum does not kill the ratings.

In the US Chuck was up against the premier of Dancing with the Stars. A show that knocks down all the competition. It wasn't a surprise to me that it went down in the ratings.

Is it me or are they making the show too campy. In the past, even the first half of seaosn 4, Sarah was the straight laced one and the comedy played off that, now it seems like the acting is a bit forced.

Anonymous on March 22, 2011 at 7:41 PM

wow.. that's low..

Anonymous on March 22, 2011 at 7:51 PM

its going down down down..... come on... if this keeps going down, chuck is going to have a crappy ending.... the same thing that happened to Flash forward.... FFS

Anonymous on March 22, 2011 at 8:17 PM

I still watch, but I think iot is hard to argue that the second half of this season is as good as past seasons and the first half. Phase three was still the height of season four

Anonymous on March 22, 2011 at 8:51 PM

NBC should be cancelling it next week.

Anonymous on March 22, 2011 at 8:52 PM

Strahovski's acting has become as dry as the desert.

Agree with the above, and she used to be the best on the show

i'm agree with you too,in my opinion Phase Three makes the difference this season.yes-it has were very interesting and funny moments, but they were also some episodes that cleary have no sence.for example:ina one episode they're engaged, sara makes list for wedding, flowers, cake, etc.,and on next week, they acting like they're married from 50 years, and they're forgot for the wedding long time ago.i mean that in the last few episodes, they play indifferent, the drama and the sparks between sarah and chuck, the way they look, and acting when the life of the other was in danger, are gone long time ago.i think that just these things make this movie so loved and watched by millions of people around the world.I hope that writters will get in hands, and make the last 5 episodes really really good, because the movie and all its fans around the world deserved it,and on may 16th to see one really big and fun wedding(wich im not sure, but continiune hoping)P.S:sorry my english cleary is very very bad,and you'll be laughing a lot when u read this post, but i thinking that there's a lot of truth in my words.

I think that if either Non Americans could watch Chuck on NBC, the ratings would be much, much higher. But there is there stupid restriction!

Anonymous on March 22, 2011 at 11:36 PM

i disagree with anonymous 8:51. They aren't going to cancel next week. Wait til the +7 numbers roll in and they count internet viewing etc. Chuck has millions of loyal fans and NBC knows we want more episodes

Anonymous on March 22, 2011 at 11:44 PM

Anonymous on March 23, 2011 at 1:22 AM

Ok as I was reading...I found some interesting stuff...who really pays attention to how much eye makeup she has on? Anyway...this is kinda sad!! But I agree with an earlier post saying that really the Nielson box owners and the internet watchers are all that matter...or at least the only thing that they really look at (obviously we all matter)!!! So...let's keep high spirits..and WATCH/OBSESS over CHUCK!!!

Comment by Kyle Garret on March 23, 2011 at 2:44 AM

I agree with the others about Dancing with the Stars. Chuck definitely has a problem, though, if its not even keeping the viewers it has.
I think the fact that, assuming NBC brings back L&O:LA AND Chuck, it only has 10 hours of shows for 18 hours of time for next season will help.
Also, a good case could be made that if they advertise next season as the LAST season, they can bring back some viewers who have left.

Comment by Kyle Garret on March 23, 2011 at 2:44 AM

And I don't think Ellie is Agent X -- I think Chuck is. It would appear that Chuck has never told the Awesomes about the Intersect.

Anonymous on March 23, 2011 at 3:10 PM

Seriously..without judging etc.
How do you guys think? why seems the passion&love gone between Chuck and Sarah? Maybe because they (Zachary and Yvonne) are too long together as an actors? And they feel kinda bored.. I mean-4 years together as lovers on TV.. Have they already exexhausted themselves?

the same with Yvonne's acting lately..

penelope on March 23, 2011 at 8:35 PM

i totally agree with scott scherer !!!last episode was amazing and chuck is the best no matter what !!

Unfortunately, I think if they won't increase the romance between sarah and chuck, i and my girlfriend will stop watching chuck because it is becoming boring compared to previous series. they could put some tension between for example sarah jealous for some girl for one episode for some girl or some intersect idea to improve. because now chuck flashes without problem, casey is became normal and open to feelings, sarah and chuck seem like brother and sister than a couple. I am not surprised the numbers are dropping. Sorry for my english.
