NBC is kicking off the week of broadcast network “upfront’ meetings on May 16, 2011. The upfront meetings are where the networks announce their fall schedules and pitch to advertising buyers to get as much advertising money “up front” as they can.

Dont know, im feeling positive about season 5 since season 4 has been amazing so far :)
As Zachary has said that as far as Chuck has got its viewers in 18-49 age we wont have to fear cancellation.
And if Chuck does get cancelled, RIOTS all over the world guaranteed.

All they have to do is allow Chuck a full contract as 5th season not any of those half way 12 episode contracts because that can't be good for any shows! So far that's only happened in Season 2 and look where that took Chuck!
^^^^ The problem you're mentioning is, isn't the length of the series, its the fact that they say 13 episodes but then give more after. So the series after episode 13 is disjointed because they have to write more episodes quickly
I don't understand why all shows must extend with more season and therefor lose entertainment.
This season is allready too much.
It is pathetic, mostly boring and rearly interesting. It is becoming more and more repetative and anoying, actually this show is just for slobbering idiots who buy this lausy crap. I liked this show for first three seasons but now i only wath it because of Morgan The Man.

I just want chuck zachary levi and Sarah yvonne strahovski to get married I don't know if I want a season 5 because the show is getting less funny and more serious

I sure hope for season 5. I laugh every week and love how they have developed the characters and have Sarah and Chuck working things out together. I'm surprised some don't think the writing is still clever and funny -
if only they showed chuck in other countries too so the rating can go up
i suggest a break-up for chuck & sarah at the end of season 4.. then a kiss and make-up on season 5.. so there will be more storylines.. no acting so far, except for episodes 8&9..
First of all I really wish people that were not in favor of a season five would not comment on this site, or be on this site in general. I mean look around for a couple minutes, do you think that this is the place for negative comments about Chuck? Secondly they should give Chuck a full season order for season five because, in my opinion, it is as funny and clever as it has always been, and a season five at this point (where all of the story lines are mostly tied up) would give all of the characters major room for development. Not to mention the fact that 22 more episodes would put Chuck up to 100 episodes total, and lead to syndication.
chuck is the best and i find it really sad that some people do not appreciate it !!i understand that we cant share the same opinion and tastes about everything and i totally believe in expressing ourselves but i agree with an anonymous above me !really ?in a site for chuck fans there shouldnt be negative comments that also offend the viewers !!the show and the fans decerve the best and this is only more and more awesome episodes !!from greece

This is going to be long.i agree with the three people above me you guys arent loyal fans of chuck if your going to complain you should be complaining about how chuck might not get a season five bc chuck is still very funny in my book and the show has to get serious bc were would be the spy excitment in all of us hell all comedys have serious moments and dont have sarah and chuck break up thts a bad idea we have waited three seasons for them 2 be together i would like to see them get married at the end or even go into season five with it.
the only way chuck always seem like the same plot lines happen is bc the writers have to be prepared for an ending and then when they get a call back more things are going to happen look at season 1 and 3 they ended that kind of calm bc they didnt know what to excpect for another season after that but look at season 2 they got the full season things went great and even for the season finale they left us wanting more.
so u chuck fans think about it the writers have to b prepared bc if they ended us wanting more but chuck got cancelled i would be pissed off! if they left it with a bad ending asking all these questions but no answers.
I love chuck and for all u loyal and somewat loyal fans hang in there bc us r wat keeps chuck coming back. if we dont have a chuck season five will just have 2 go 2 nbc and have a riot intil they bring back chuck be i know i would be there
No love, kissing, sex, romance. Just a friendly kiss on the cheek before a dangerous mission. Get a new romance writer, one that understands what romance is.!!!!!!! We need them to show their love every episode! The constant danger should bring this out and justify it too! They love each other in real life too! They will be married soon if not already in real life!
God I hope there's gonna be a season 5 the show is too awesome to quit after four seasons
