The viewer ratings from tonights episode, Season 4 Episode 1: "Chuck vs. The Anniversary" reached 6.06 million viewers and a 2.1/ 6 among adults 18-49. Chuck was #4 at 8PM

Can anyone answer this: does online watching count towards views? I sure hope so, b/c I watch all the episodes the next day on NBC.com.....

This is the worst part about watching Chuck, to be honest... I watch a great episode of Chuck and hope for decent ratings, then we get a 2.1 with less than 6 million viewers and my heart breaks... I really hope we get decent numbers....

S 4-1 --- This episode was cluttered and tedious .. What is goin on?
The Nielsen Ratings are outdated. I've lived in 4 states, and stationed oversees, and have never met anyone who participated. A new way must be created! There are so many other venues people use to watch Chuck... Many Awesome shows have been or were almost canceled due to the Nielsen Ratings... (once again, a bogus rating system)... (Twitter) @nbc Come on, you can do better than 13 episodes for "Chuck"... Pick up the season... If you buy them... they will watch...
IMO, it was a great start for the new season (and that scene on the plane when Sarah was doing pictures was just awesome :D ). I don't know if I can wait till next episode because of that 2 - 6 sneak peek they aired after ep 4x01 :D.
this episode was so gd can't wait till nxt weeks episode this season is gonna be great from what i have seen from the sneak peeks. bring on nxt monday
I think that yes the ratings shouldn't count until they can gather all the numbers from PVR/ Tivo as well all the most downloaded tv episodes from a number of sites. and if NBC looked at those they would see that Chuck is well in the top 10 if not the top 5 downloaded shows. they need to get their heads out of the big cheeses a$$es and look at the REAL numbers and give Chuck at least a two season pick up. considering times have changed and almost everyone i know has a PVR/ TiVo and expecially when you have kids you have to watch it at a later time. thank you for letting me rant and rave.
i justed watched the new chuck and o my days think ill watch that again fuckin awesome. But it sucks that as im in england i cant help with the bullshit ratings. Cant wait tell next tuesday. P.S i love the new buymore
Damn, this was an amazing premiere episode!!!! LOVED IT!!!! it was so freakin funny how Sarah tried to sext with CHUCK on the plane and when Morgan sexted for CHUCK!!!! XD
downloading the show ,if you are from another country other than the u.s.,won't help it, since there are no commercials...better buy the dvd's if there isn't any other option...2 bad I can't help the show with it's ratings because I'm a fan of the show from Greece :( ...

Actually, 6 million is pretty good considering Chuck is up against Dancing with the Stars and How I Met Your Mother. I don't understand why NBC has not promoted Chuck at all. All summer I think I saw Zachary peddling Comcast more than on a Chuck promo... I may have saw one or two 15 second Chuck promo.
6.06 million! not bad, considering NBC is not helping to promote chuck at all.. far out!! and plus, it was football night! GO CHUCK!!!
