BROMSTAD (NBC): "CHUCK WILL PROBABLY RETURN"

8:41 PM / Posted by Sheldon /

22 April 2010,

Angela Bromstad of NBC recently spoke to The Hollywood reporter about Chuck's Season 4 renewal possibilities:

NBC still has a couple major titles on the bubble for renewal -- namely "Chuck" and "Heroes" -- but sources indicate both will probably return, with "Heroes" likely receiving a 13-episode "final season" order.

Sounds awesome, but am I the only one that hopes that they produce season 4 as the last season of Chuck? I'm absolutely in love with the show, but I don't know if I can go through the whole "will they/won't they" as far as renewing it. I don't want the show to end on a cliffhanger. I want it to be wrapped up nicely.

nicholas... If they order a full season, will would likely get a 5th for the reason they could get extra money if they hit 100 episodes! they would have to order I think 23-24 episodes each season... But if the ratings increase just slightly next year they will bring it back without making us wait... well at least that's what happens with shows close to the 100 episode mark!

Hope it's true!

Ryan, I know about the syndication thing and I would LOVE if Chuck gets to that point. That would be...awesome *Captain Awesome high-five* I would also love a full season order for season 4, but I don't think that will happen at this point. I'm betting they're going to put it as a midseason replacement with 13 episodes with the option for another back 6, just like this season. Maybe I'm just pessimistic, but I don't see Chuck getting to 100 episodes. I just can't see two more full seasons of more than 22 episodes each happening to get to the 100 episode mark. Time will tell, and I'm all for more Chuck. My number 1 hope is that the series wraps up well and doesn't end on a cliffhanger.

I would be very happy and so would other people in my household who love the Nerd if Chuck did indeed come back! That would be AWESOME!

hmm interesting comments. Im from the UK and love chuck. What i dont understand is why is nbc thinking of cutting it when not justed in the USA but here and all over the world chuck has a massive fan base that came together to save the show last year. I think they should take that in to a count fuck all this rating crap
