what is happening people how do you not love this show i dont get how were losing people, but i guess they missed out on this one, it was amazing

Gosh that's a huge drop... but I think that previous episode (4x08) after two weeks of waiting was weak so we didn't even keep the viewers, we lost them. I hope next episode when Linda and Timothy are back as guests will set Chuck back on good tracks.

One more thing, Chuck Versus Phase Tree was a great ep. I wish the ratings gets better next week.

I think the holiday was the bigger issue. I'm surprised that so many shows are even airing new episodes this week. I would imagine we'll see a slight uptick next week, although maybe not to its usual numbers.

Well it's Thanksgiving week people are buy and people are traveling hopefully they'll be back next week after the holiday. This is exactly why they don't show new episodes in December, people are just too busy

It was also the final competition on Dancing With The Stars before the final results. Which I sure don't understand the big draw there. All I can say is people who still haven't watched CHUCK just miss so much. I keep telling everyone, posting clips on my facebook, and giving DVD's away. I do agree too that the holiday probably was part of the reason for the lower ratings. Hopefully the ratings will be up a lot next week before the long break.

I just have one thing to say pray god people and the ratings will grow!!

I agree with chuckrocks post. Finale of Dancing with the Stars for unknown reasons is a huge show. Plus for a lot of people myself included can't watch it live at 8. I have to tivo and watch it later. How does it work when a ton of people watch on computer or off recordings? Best show I've ever gotten hooked on. Love every episode, but last nights was GREAT.

This episode 4.09 was awesome..

My beef is with NBC and the lack of support it gives Chuck - yes we got 24 episodes but how can we get tuned into a show when we don't see any sneak peeks or hype from the show - here in CANADA we rarely see commericals on NBC - or anything promotional - as was stated by one already Chuck is spread through FB, myspace, youtube...and that's all - if we could vote per TV and by fan support chuck ratings would be off the wall - until NBC steps up to the plate CHuck will not have the support that it deserves - so it is up to us as fans to keep chuck going - long live chuck - plus with episodes like last night it wouldn't matter what other show was on if we saw more of Chuck advertised - Chuck fan from Canada

We'll see next week if the show is bleeding viewers, it could very well be a temporary thing. I hope so.

CHUXpert on November 23, 2010 at 10:29 PM

You from Canada? So am I!!! And I agree. Like really, Canadian fans are just not taken seriously enough by NBC! I mean hell, if you let us do the ratings, we'd give CHUCK a 5/5 every freakin time! WHO'S WITH ME?

Anonymous on November 23, 2010 at 11:06 PM

last nights episode was amazing!!! i think it was about the best one all season! its really a bummer that not a lot have been watching lately. Chuck is the best show on tv and it deserves the 24 episodes it got and then a 5th and maybe 6th season! We as the fans are doing a big part on getting more viewers, but we need to do even more!!

Comment by Tzak on November 23, 2010 at 11:24 PM

6 season?:-O

I think that the Dancing with the Stars" finale was probably a big draw, BUT NBC needs to promo CHUCK alot more than they are! They are doing a lousy job of PR for a really great show.

This was a relly good ep.
realy funny to see Shara kick some as! 10/10

dancing with the stars finale was big competition during the timeslot, abcs new show skating with the stars doesnt look that promising

Anonymous on November 24, 2010 at 12:06 AM

WHAT! 800,000 less than less episode!?!? Phase Three was one of the best if not the best episode this season. We finaly got to see how much Sarah loves Chuck the ratings should have been more then the last episode since 4x08 wasn't any were as good. Do people not like Sarah?

Jawsome on November 24, 2010 at 12:21 AM

800,000 less people how the heck did that happen?!? A few thousand or so i get,but almost 1 million that is insane. It was also a really good episode.I think Ellie and Awsome have the intersect.

Dennis on November 24, 2010 at 12:28 AM

Oh this is not nice.Very very bad news.800,000 people less:( I hope it will not continue like that if all of us want a 5th season.I am really upset now,in spite of the awesome episode last night:(

chuckrocks on November 24, 2010 at 1:49 AM

There is another contest that CHUCK fans need to be voting for if you aren't. It is called TV Show Of The Month. Here is the link

http://tweeter.faxo.com/TV_Show_of_the_Month/2010/11

Right now CHUCK is in the # 1 spot. If we can keep that spot, and if we have won the TV Guide contest, maybe that will help NBC know how dedicated we are and give CHUCK the 5th Season it is so deserving of.

Television By the Numbers released Monday's numbers and House dropped 15%. MNF also dropped. Given that the drop seemed to happen across the board, I don't think this has anything to do with Chuck.

It Wasn't CHUCK on November 24, 2010 at 3:53 AM

Posted all ready and I agree with all of you Dancing with the Stars + Thanksgiving= BIG drop in tv views. I couldn't even watch it live b/c I was busy i had to watch it online. So I don't thinks it's chuck I think it's just tw whole busy thing/

Comment by mary_althene on November 24, 2010 at 10:02 AM

WHAT?! I can't believe this! I thought this episode was gonna have one of the highest ratings in season 4! What the hell happened?! I, for one, was very excited to see this! But what the Chuck?!
PEOPLE! WATCH LIVE!!! ^0^

Anonymous on November 24, 2010 at 11:08 AM

The ratings for the episode probably have little to do with the episode itself, it's more about the competition from other shows this week, and perhaps how people felt about the previous ep.?

Anonymous on November 24, 2010 at 1:22 PM

Oh come on.... at this rate, this will be the last season...
maybe chuck would have more viewers at wednesdays

Anonymous on November 24, 2010 at 5:01 PM

Best episode ever---REALLY!!!

Anonymous on November 28, 2010 at 1:38 PM

I am amazed. Without doubt, for me the strongest ep in S4 so far. Yvonne was simply outstanding in her ability to convey emotion, both her personal desolation over the loss of Chuck and her cold anger with all the bad guys. She is so talented. LOVED THIS EP.

is there a rerun of this episode tonight?
