From EW.com: It’s good news (for me), bad news (for NBC): Since its numbers are down and its new and returning shows are mainly DOA, Chuck’s third season might get to premiere sooner than the March date that’s been bandied about thus far. “How much sooner” you ask?
As early as late October, my moles tell me. And while it remains unclear whether the show would return to its Monday timeslot or find itself a new perch, NBC insiders who’ve seen the first four episodes are calling this season the best yet.
But wait, there’s more. If Chuck does come back sooner rather than later, the chances of NBC ordering additional episodes beyond the 13 it initially commissioned increases dramatically.
UPDATE: Chuck will premiere on Sunday, 10 January 2010 with two new back-to-back episodes from 9-11PM and then return to it's riginal time and day on Monday 11 January 2010 with one episode from 8PM on NBC.

Seriously, if this happens, I am going to cry with joy! I hope NBC does do this! I think early-December would be a perfect time to start--get the Christmas episode out early enough in the year that it's a big deal right off the bat, plus that'd give them enough time to start a good advertising campaign--I know the fans would help out with that for sure (right, guys?)! It could be awesome! Plus, I just got a friend hooked on it and am working on another and it's going to be hard to wait so long for season three at the rate at which we're flying through season two!! We NEED Chuck to keep going!!

Well will know for sure when they announce the release date of the Season 2 DVD set. They always release the previous season before starting the new one.

Yes, thank the lords! How could there possibly have been low ratings for chuck? Before I discovered chuck, my life was at a standstill and I didn't really have anything to work for. But now that I've discovered it, it has really given me the strength and motivation to keep going in life and aim to be fit and strong like Casey, hot and sexy like Sarah, awesome like Awesome, sensitive and caring like Ellie, hilarious like Morgan, and ... Chucklike like Chuck. When I heard that there may not have been a third season, my heart broke and my feet buckled. This new news has once again given me hope. Thank god for S3 Chuck!
